More Kitchen Remodeling!

Sunday, April 11th....I just stuck tile along the backsplash of my new countertop. It was fun, and easier than I expected it to be! (I've never done tile before.) I had 5" to work with, so my 4-1/4" tiles, a 1/2" strip of screen molding, and two grout lines will all just fit the space! I plan to continue the tiles all the way around the counter and on to the other wall (once I get that other counter installed).	Here's a close-up of the tile I got (at Home Depot!). It was cheap and the colors go nicely with the new countertop, I think!
Below and to the right: the tiling is all done! I found a white microwave cabinet and installed some white shelves up above the microwave, for added storage. (I have no upper cabinets.)
