These two photos are of a Size 5 (21.3" scale) rosewood guitar, for a customer whose name in Chinese means "horse."

The pine trees stand for my name, which means "bottom of the pine tree" in Japanese.
Here are some photos of the two guitars I made this summer, for my very first customers. The three photos above are of a rosewood/Englemann spruce dreadnought, with abalone purfling, and an abalone-inlaid peghead. The customer wanted a rose (he lives in an area called the Rosegarden) and a bird (he has birdhouses in his garden), so I attempted my very first elaborate abalone inlay.
